HOW IT ALL STARTED
Two brothers, one idea, and a borrowed truck. What began with selling old speakers from the local dump turned into a growing business built on hard work, community, and opportunity. Today, Junk Teens runs multiple trucks, employs local youth, and keeps neighborhoods clean—proving that big things can start small.

Charlie
With 4 years on the team, Charlie is our second full-time employee ever. He manages donations and new hires while bringing unmatched expertise in junk removal.
Dylan
Our first full-time employee and current Cape Cod Manager, Dylan has 4 years of experience leading crews, planning team activities, and ensuring smooth operations.
Colin
With 2 years on the team, Colin manages Norwood operations, oversees scheduling, and keeps every project running efficiently from start to finish.
MEET COLIN
Colin joined Junk Teens back in high school, taking after-school shifts with friends just to make some extra cash. But what started as a side job quickly became something more. He learned the ropes fast — mastering truck loading, team coordination, and efficient recycling.
Now, after a few years of hard work, Colin runs the show. As Operations Lead, he schedules crews, trains new hires, and makes sure every job gets done right. His journey from student to full-time manager shows what Junk Teens is all about: growth, grit, and giving young people real-world skills.

"Junk Teens" is truly a DREAM TEAM! Very impressed by the entire operation. Super customer service! I was surprised by the quick response to my email requesting information which was followed up almost immediately by a call. I spoke to a courteous and knowledgeable staffer who answered all my questions and scheduled an appointment. On the "day of", I received an "ETA" text from the office followed by a call from the actual crew in transit to let me know they were running 10 minutes behind. How thoughtful! Andrew, Hunter, and Niko arrived and completed the job in no time. What a terrific trio! Professional, respectful, reliable, responsible, and hardworking. Thanks, guys!

OUR STORY
Growing up, my brother and I watched our parents build their company called “McKinney Brothers Tree Service.” Everyday they showed us what it’s like to follow our dreams and run a company.
When I (Kirk) turned 17, I was working at the local Needham Roche Brothers store getting paid minimum wage. I began to collect speakers from the local dump and when my room got too full, my Mom gave me the option to sell the speakers or throw them out.
So I started selling the equipment on Facebook marketplace, while also exploring junk removal with some workers at the dump to find more things to sell!
That’s when I called my little brother to see if he wanted to start our own junk removal company together. We went in 50/50 on a truck and started doing junk removal jobs around our community.
The jobs kept getting bigger and bigger, so we purchased our first dump truck and hired our first employee (a friend from high school!).
From that point on, we spent our time after school and our summers focused on building our business to help the community stay clean and provide opportunities to our generation to get work experience for great pay!
We even had to rent out a warehouse to store all of the items we collected and have a dedicated area where we could save items to donate!
Now, 4 years later, Junk Teens has 20 employees, 5 dump trucks and even a warehouse thanks to the amazing community who has supported our business!
