JUNK TEENS PRESS
Junk Teens is a junk removal company founded by brothers Kirk and Jacob McKinney in Westwood, Massachusetts. What started with a single pickup truck has grown into a seven-figure business, all while the brothers were still in high school. Along the way, they've created jobs for local teens, giving them hands-on work experience and opportunities to build confidence, responsibility and real-world skills. Junk Teens is also committed to keeping usable items out of landfills by donating and repurposing whenever possible. Through their focus on both sustainability and youth employment, the company is making a positive impact in communities across Massachusetts.

Kirk McKinney (22) is the CEO and co-founder of Junk Teens, which he and his brother Jacob started as a high school side hustle in Norwood, Massachusetts, with a single pickup truck and a group of friends. Kirk studied entrepreneurship at Babson College, where he graduated from in 2026. Today, he leads the company's overall vision and growth, having helped scale Junk Teens into a six-truck operation that generated $3 million in revenue in 2025. "We like to work hard and have fun.
